Search For Jan Pace Continues As Loved Ones Appeal For Safe Return

The search for Jan Pace is still ongoing, with police confirming this morning that the hairdresser has not yet been located.
Lovin Malta reached out to the police earlier today, and a spokesperson confirmed that unfortunately, Jan is still missing.
This comes after a fresh update was issued this afternoon by Crisis Resolution Malta, the country’s 24/7 mental health crisis team.
According to their statement, Jan was last seen wearing dark trousers, a dark top, dark shoes, a smartwatch, a light-coloured cap, and a small rucksack with blue straps. He was reportedly walking in the direction of the Grand Harbour area from Pietà.
“This information may change, but at least we have something to work with,” CRM said.
“How can you help? Pray, think about him, get any CCTV footage you can and pass it on, and keep your eyes open.”
Authorities issued an urgent public appeal yesterday to locate Jan who has been missing since Wednesday. Concern is high as those close to him fear he may be in a serious, life-threatening crisis. He left home without his phone.
CRM has described the case as “extremely urgent” and is urging anyone who may have seen or heard from Jan to come forward. The organisation also praised the police for their “sterling work” under the leadership of Inspector Elisia Scicluna. Police officers, dog handlers, drones, rescue teams, and volunteers are all involved in the ongoing search, united in the hope of bringing Jan home safely.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward and assist in any way possible as efforts continue to locate Jan.
