‘Send Your CV To L-Aqwa-Żmien’: PN Posts Job Offering For Energy Minister
In the midst of Malta’s latest power cut crisis, the PN has published a cheeky job vacancy for a new energy minister.
The ‘job’ requirements include a capability of being honest, a willingness to invest to guarantee power supply, and a willingness to invest in the drainage system and keep Malta’s bays clean.
It says the job listing has been created because the current minister, Miriam Dalli, has “disappeared in the middle of a crisis” and invites interested parties to send their CV to laqważ[email protected].
Malta has been plagued by several power cuts in recent days, with several localities like Gozo, Mellieħa, Ħamrun, Qormi, St Julian’s and Sliema all hit with blackouts, despite Dalli’s promise that last summer’s nightmare scenario won’t repeat itself due to a significant upgrade in the underground cable network.
