The Serbian man suspected of stabbing a Macedonian man in Buġibba last Monday has been named as Milos Vidakoviḱ.

After speaking to a relative of the victim, the Macedonian community in Malta has named the aggressor and has published two photos from his now-deleted Facebook profile.

“If you have any information about this man, please report it to the police, who are in constant contact with the family and are doing everything in their power to catch the perpetrator,” the Macedonian community said. “There’s no place for people like him in Malta and we’re hoping for a quick response to the case.”

Several Macedonian media outlets have also reported this call for information.

Police have launched a manhunt for the Serbian national, who they said had stabbed a 58-year-old Macedonian man on Monday night between Triq il-Korp tal-Pijunieri and Triq l-10 ta’ Frar in Buġibba.

A member of the Macedonian community told Lovin Malta that the victim hadn’t even knows Vidakoviḱ but had merely tried to break up a fight.
