Six People And Several Pets Rescued From Apartment Fire In Mosta
Firefighters from the Civil Protection Department rushed to the scene of a structure fire in Mosta yesterday evening, after flames broke out in the common area of a four-unit apartment block.
A total of 10 firefighters, along with two fire engines and one turntable ladder, were deployed from Fire Stations 3 and 11 to rescue residents trapped inside their apartments.

Crews successfully rescued six people, as well as a dog, cat, rabbit, and parrot from the smoke-filled building. Four residents were later taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.
The Civil Protection Department thanked the Malta Police Force, Mater Dei’s Emergency Department, Enemalta, and a private veterinarian who attended the scene to check on the rescued pets.
