The six-year-old boy who fell in the pool in Swieqi on 13th May has unfortunately passed away.

The incident occurred in Sant’ Andrija Street where police responded to an incident of the Italian boy who had fallen into the pool in a private residence. The young boy found himself in difficulty which led to him fighting for his life in Mater Dei.

Magistrate Philip Farrugia Galea is leading an inquiry into the case and police investigations are still ongoing.
