Sliema Fashion Store Pays Tribute To Murdered Staff Member Sandra Ramirez

Sliema fashion store Mavenry has announced it has closed its doors for the day in honour of Sandra Ramirez, a former staff member who was found murdered this morning.
“Today we have tragically lost a member of our family, not just a member of our staff,” Mavenry said in an Instagram story.

“Sandra Ramirez was a kind, gentle and hard-working woman who was loved by all of us at Mavenry. Out of respect for her memory and to give our staff a pause to grieve and process this tremendous shock we will not be opening our doors today.”
“We extend our condolences to her family and loved ones.”
Ramirez, a 43-year-old Colombian national, was found stabbed to death in the bedroom of a rented apartment in Triq Sir George Borg, Sliema this morning.
A 43-year-old Colombian male has turned himself in and is under arrest.
