Standstill Traffic As Two Cars Collide In Mġarr Bypass

Footage sent to Lovin Malta has shown the aftermath of an Mġarr car crash that led to one car being piled over another.

The incident took place at the Mġarr bypass at around 10.45am, and resulted in standstill traffic as drivers were left without space to move.

Photos sent to the newsroom showed a head-on collision between a black sportscar and a white vehicle on the wrong side of the road, with the latter coming to a halt on top of the sportscar.

An ambulance was seen on site, however, a police spokesperson informed Lovin Malta that no injuries were sustained by drivers in the accident.
