Stephanie Vassallo Replaces Francine Farrugia On Siġġiewi Local Council

PN’s Stephanie Vassallo has been officially elected to the Siġġiewi local council, replacing Francine Farrugia.
“I am looking forward to working with my colleagues for a better Siġġiewi,” Vassallo said.
Farrugia resigned from the council after she was charged with embezzling €2.3 million from MCAST, where she was in charge of payroll.
She allegedly used this money to purchase properties, vehicles and several luxury items.
Vassallo was the only remaining PN candidate who hadn’t already been elected to the Siġġiewi council, and she joins Mayor Julian Borg, Ryan Cachia and Charles Vassallo in the council.
