The eldest son of murdered journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia has taken a Maltese MEP to task after she said she was being “angry and betrayed” in a post this morning.

Matthew Caruana Galizia has slammed Miriam Dalli, saying she was wrong about the Prime Minister and that she did not act when the country needed her to.

“Dear Miriam Dalli – If you are angry and feeling betrayed, accept that you were wrong about the Prime Minister,” Caruana Galizia started.

“Acknowledge that when you could have done something that would have prevented murder, you did nothing.”

Miriam Dalli is one of the PL’s top politicians, and many wonder if she will be the next to take on the mantle of Leader of the Labour Party as well as become the next Prime Minister.

Caruana Galizia did not mince words and ended with some advice on what he felt the country needs right now.

“Now stop crying like a fool and commit to doing something. Demand that the Prime Minister resigns immediately. Then use your fat salary to buy a ticket to Malta and sit in the road with the protestors – sincerely, your country,” he ended.

His post garnered over 2,100 reactions and over 300 shares within four hours of being online.
