Malta: “The Unspoilt Mediterranean,” does it still live up to this title?
Maltese architecture and heritage enthusiast page, Limestone Jungle, shared a blast from the past – a 1980s travel ad for Malta.
The brief television advert shows landmarks from all around our sister islands – from the vast Grand Harbour to even the historic Ottoman Cemetery.
While capturing the essence of Maltese heritage, it also made sure to sprinkle in some common pastimes that are still going strong today.
Deemed, “The Unspoilt Mediterranean,” Malta’s renowned tourism scene has been strong for ages.
However, some eyebrows were raised when the video was shared, with many questioning whether or not Malta still lives up to this old title.
