Students Aged Between Five and Sixteen To Get €20 Vouchers For Malta Book Festival

Parents of students aged between five and 16 can now apply for a €20 voucher that their children can use at the upcoming National Book Festival.

You can register through the site vouchers.ktieb.org.mt and the vouchers – four separate ones of €5 – will be emailed to you.

There’s no need to register if children are attending the festival with their class, as vouchers will be distributed upon arrival.

Education Minsiter Clifton Grima said the government has allocated €625,000 to this scheme, which is available for over 31,000 students.

He said this will boost the sale of books during the festival, which will take place between 5th and 9th November at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali.

National Book Council head Mark Camilleri welcomed this initiative, which he said will attract new people to the festival.
