Sunday morning raids carried out by the police alongside members of Detention Services led to the arrest of 11 people across Marsa.

The raids are part of an ongoing effort to pinpoint irregular migration into the island, authorities said.

This raid comes after another 19 people were arrested in recent days. 

The people arrested were taken to a detention centre where the process to repatriate them to their country of origin is underway.

They are expected to leave the country in the coming days and weeks.
