One Ride Equals One Donation: Tallinja Għal L-Istrina Launches This Saturday
Malta Public Transport is set to launch the seventh edition of Tallinja għal L-Istrina on Saturday, 23rd December, in collaboration with the Office of the President.
“We encourage the public to stand alongside us in aiding the less fortunate by using our bus services on this day”, Chairman of Malta Public Transport, Felipe Cosmen said.
The main aim of this initiative is to generate funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation (MCCFF).
For every journey taken by customers on that Saturday, including those utilising the free transport scheme, Malta Public Transport will make a donation.
This means that the more people travel by bus on Saturday 23rd December, the greater the contributions towards MCCF’s cause.
“Our dedication to L-Istrina has grown into a cherished yearly event, uniting us with the community in support of this noble cause. ”
