Teen in Critical Condition After Jet Ski Collision in Balluta Bay
An 18-year-old is in critical condition following a collision between two jet skis in the waters off Balluta Bay on Friday afternoon.
Police were alerted to the incident at around 4.30pm, when they were informed that a person had been rushed to Mater Dei Hospital earlier in the day with serious injuries.
The victim, an 18-year-old Albanian national, was involved in a collision between two jet skis while out at sea. Following the crash, he was brought to shore by dinghy before being transported to hospital by ambulance.
Police officers later visited the site of the incident, and investigations into the case are currently ongoing.
No further details have yet been released about the second individual involved in the collision.
