Temperatures Expected To Drop Suddenly With Strong Winds And Rainstorm Forecast For Malta Tonight

The temperature in Malta is set to drop by 10 degrees as strong winds and a rainstorm with a chance of thunder has been forecast.
“The North to Northwest wind will be locally strong at times over the exposed areas of the Maltese Islands,” Malta’s Meteorological Office said today in a warning on its website. “This is valid until eight o’clock tonight and may be renewed accordingly.”
Other online weather pages also warned of strong winds and the sudden drop in temperature that is about to hit the island.
“Until tonight, the temperature is expected to drop by about nine to 10 degrees colder than it is now (25 degrees), whereas later on rainclouds are expected, with the possibility of thunder,” the page Temp Madwarna posted. “Get those long-sleeves ready.”
