‘Thank You For The Beautiful Life We Shared’: Beloved Eurovision Representative Chris Scicluna Dies
Chris Scicluna, one half of beloved Maltese musical duo Chris and Moira, has died at the age of 62.
His partner Moira Stafrace announced the tragic news “with a shattered and broken heart” alongside a beautiful tribute to the man.
“Chris… father to our daughter Michela, best friend, music mentor, traveling buddy, my shadow for the past 27 years – thank you for the beautiful life we shared,” she said.
“A full life of love, amazing passion for music, our adventures and our travels. We shared a lot of wonderful experiences together as music lovers and husband and wife. I love you Chris, fly high my hubby.”
“Hope you’re rocking up there, you are now with your dad.”
Chris and Moira represented the island in the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘More Than Love’.
Just this evening, practically all of Malta’s previous Eurovision representatives were set to take the stage in a special performance as the Eurovision Song Malta takes place over this weekend.
