The Bubble Will Burst Sooner Or Later, Debono Warns PN

The bubble will burst sooner or later, former PN MP Franco Debono warned the Nationalist Party.
After Bernard Grech quelled internal rumours of an imminent leadership change and blamed the Labour Party for spreading them, Debono offered his two cents on the situation within the party.
“The truth is that everyone is sick and tired at the lack of political alternatives. Everyone is tired of being a political orphan,” he said.
“The truth is that, sooner or later, the bubble will burst, and those who have been manoeuvring and conspiring to maintain the status quo of political orphanhood will be exposed and humiliated.”
“Why is that whenever a valid person emerges in the PN, the same circle of frustrated people always turns against them? This has been happening for years now and everyone is sick to death of it. I foresaw all of this 15 years ago.”
In another post, Debono suggested that the people of Malta aren’t pleased with the political status quo, but that they have numbed themselves because they know there isn’t an alternative.
“A numbed person isn’t a happy person. People want an alternative, they want politics with substance.”
