Jacob Cachia, the inspirational Maltese youth that overcame brain damage and Meningoencephalitis at the age of 15 to create Jacob’s Brew – Pay It Forward, has just received a letter of thanks from none other than the Queen of England.

“I have been asked by The Queen to thank you for kindly sending a copy of your book “Jacob: My Tianium Man” which was recently delivered to Buckingham Palace,” began the letter.

“Her Majesty was pleased to receive your book and hear about the very important services you provide to your local community in Malta through Jacob’s Brew cafe’. This message comes to you with The Queen’s warmest good wishes.”

“Signed Tom Laing-Baker, Assistant Private Secretary to The Queen.”

His mother Sarah Cachia could barely believe it

“Oh wow… looks like ‘Jacob – My Titanium Man’ has made its way to Queen Lizzie’s bedside table,” she said in a Facebook post this morning.

Having been by her son’s side since being diagnosed, seeing him fight for his life, recover, and become an inspiration to all, receiving this letter of thanks from the Queen must have made her one of the proudest mothers on the island.

What would you do if the Queen of England sent a letter thanking you?
