The She Word is a roundtable discussion series led by veteran interviewer Trudy Kerr which gets Maltese guest speakers from all walks of life to open up about their struggles, experiences and philosophies as women.

“It’s out. It’s powerful. It’s important. It’s The SHE Word.”

Among many things, the series touches upon topics like body image, mental health, fertility, the work place, women and age and menopause.

“Conversations women rarely have, but really should.”

This series is created in collaboration with Lovin Malta and a host of other great sponsors including Browns, Mvintage, MAC, Nespresso, Gracy’s and Lwien.

The first episode saw Shelley Caruana, Taryn Mamo Cefai and Gail Baldacchino share thoughts on being an influencer, the impact this job has on their lives and the relationship of women with social media.

Meanwhile, the following episode entitled Women and Fertility saw the likes of Maxine Attard, Karen Schraz and Dr Elena Zarb navigate around the topic of getting pregnant having a family, and all the challenges it comes with it.

The third episode was called Women and Body Image. Trudy was joined by Leeane Bartolo, Rebecca Camilleri and Sarah, otherwise known as Sassa Gal.

This is a topic that affects almost every woman, with 88% of women out of the 5,000 asked by Good Housekeeping stating that they are unhappy with their body.

On the other hand, the most recent episode was all about Women and Women’s Rights.

In this episode, Trudy spoke to “three powerhouses of guests” including Sam Rowe Beddoe, Lara Dimitrijevic and Maria Pisani.

During the episode, the guests discuss that at the current rate, it will take more than 136 years for women to be on an equal footing to men around the world, why this is the case and all the implications for women in today’s society.

Tune in every Thursday at 7pm for a new episode of The SHE Word.
