‘The Work Of The Police Is Never Easy’: Byron Camilleri On Birkirkara Murder And Shooting
Home Affairs Minister Byron Camilleri shared his condolences to Nicolette Ghirxi’s loved ones while also acknowledging the challenging work of the police, particularly on the difficult night of the incident.
“I offer my condolences to the relatives and all those who know her,” Camilleri wrote on Facebook.

“The work of the Police is never easy and a difficult night like the one that passed is certainly not what anyone would like.”
“First the murder in Birkirkara, then the search for the aggressor, in difficult circumstances and they were forced to shoot and the alleged aggressor was killed,” the Minister added.
Camilleri went on to thank the Police for the work they have done and assured they will be given support after the difficult circumstances they went through.
