These Are Officially Malta’s Top Entrepreneurs

EY yesterday celebrated Malta’s top entrepreneurs, in a gala ceremony that saw Corinthia’s Alfred Pisani chosen as the overall winner of EY’s Malta Entrepreneur Of The Year. Mr Pisani will now be flying to Monaco to compete for EY’s World Entrepreneur of the Year award, where Malta will be represented for the first time and competing against finalists from more than 70 other countries. Previous winners in Monaco have included trail-blazing entrepreneurial drivers from a wide range of
fields – Amazon to Cirque du Soleil to LinkedIn.

The winners and shortlisted finalists were chosen by a judging panel was chaired by chairman of Gasan Group Joseph A Gasan, and included Anton Borg, President Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry, Bernie Mizzi, Director Chiswick House School and St. Martin’s College, Joseph Portelli, Chairman, Malta Stock Exchange and Prof. Juanito Camilleri, Professor, University of Malta
Alfred Pisani (Corinthia) – EY Malta Entrepreneur Of The Year
Corinthia is an iconic Maltese chain of hotels which has branched out to London and Budapest.

David Vella (Altaro Software) – EY’s Rising Star Award
Altaro Software is a fast growing software development company, with around 30,000 clients around the globe.
