Thieves Break Into Sliema Jewellery Store Through Neighbouring Kitchen Wall
A jewellery store in Sliema was robbed after thieves broke in through a wall of a neighbouring home.
Police believe the thieves entered the abandoned home and proceeded to break through the kitchen wall to gain access to the neighbouring stores.
After entering and robbing Dorothy Perkins on Triq Santa Rita the thieves then moved to the jewellery store and completely cleared it out.
According to a report on ONE it seems the store’s alarm wasn’t triggered at the time. Police were called on site by the owner after he found the state the shop was left in at around 10:00am.
