‘This Is Horrible’: Raw Sewage Flows Into Msida Skate Park Pedestrian Tunnel
Raw sewage is currently flowing into the Msida Skate Park tunnels, which connect two major areas together for pedestrians.
Residents of the area sent various photos to Lovin Malta showing the raw sewage, lamenting that this is the state of the only tunnel that they can walk through.
“This is horrible. We’re walking on shit,” the resident told the newsroom.
“There is no other way to pass from the Swatar side. Sometimes there is toilet paper as well! All drains have a problem there,” they continued.
“If they can’t sort out the subways, maybe they should install some traffic lights somewhere, for example in front of the pastizzi shop, so that people can pass.”
The residents persisted that this is a regular issue and it’s far from the first time that the foul smell of raw sewage has been smelt in the area.
In the meantime, Lovin Malta has informed the Water Services Corporation and is looking into the matter.
