Three people have been arrested over an arson attack on a boat in Sliema. 

Police said that they were informed of the incident, which happened on 29th July 2022, at 1am after witnesses saw a group of people throwing flammable objects on a boat secured to the breakwater. 

The fire was eventually put out by CPD officials and other residents. 

Investigations began soon after and now three people, two men and a woman have been arrested.

Police investigations are still underway. However, it is believed the arsonists will be charged in the next few days.
