Earlier this afternoon, the Malta Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) was alerted that three divers had gone missing in Gozo.

An Armed Forces of Malta rescue vessel was immediately dispatched to the area to begin the search.

Thanks to a coordinated effort between the Armed Forces of Malta and the Civil Protection Department, all three divers were located, brought safely to shore, and handed over to medical personnel at Gozo General Hospital.
