Three Passengers Injured After Car Crashes Into Tree In Attard

Two men and a woman were slightly injured after a car crashed into a tree in Attard on Saturday at around 4pm.

Police said that the driver of a Peugeot 508 lost control of the vehicle on Triq Ħal Warda, Ħ’Attard and crashed into a tree. He was a 46-year-old man from Birzebbugia.

Inside there were two other men, 77 and 69 as well as two women, 76 and 68, all from the United States.

All were taken to Mater Dei for medical assistance. The driver and 76-year-old woman were certified with light injuries, whilst the other three suffered injuries of a “grievous” nature.

The police are investigating.
