Three Teenagers Hospitalised After Car Overturns In Early Morning Luqa Traffic Accident
Three teenagers have been hospitalised after they were involved in a car crash in Triq l-Ewwel Titjira, Ħal Luqa at around 2:45am this morning.
Police said the accident saw a white Toyota Corsa being driven by an 18-year-old from Luqa crash with a Kia Rio being driven by a 30-year-old from Żabbar.
In the young driver’s car were two more passengers aged 17 and 19 from Birgu and Mqabba.
Following the crash, the Toyota overturned while the Kia span into the grass by the wayside.
All three youths were taken to hospital, were they were shortly certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.
