Three-Year-Old Girl Fights For Life After Tragic Boat Accident Off Ramla l-Ħamra

A three-year-old girl is currently battling for her life after falling from a boat into the sea yesterday afternoon just off the coast of the popular Ramla l-Ħamra beach in Gozo.

The accident occurred around 2pm yesterday, immediately triggering a fast response from local authorities. The Police and a dedicated medical team from Gozo General Hospital were quick to the scene, urgently attending to the young girl who was then taken to the hospital for treatment.

Upon reaching the hospital, the toddler was promptly assessed and her condition was declared critical. The gravity of the situation has led to the decision to transfer her to Mater Dei Hospital. The transfer was done by helicopter.
