Towering Plumes Of Smoke Seen After Yard Fire In Għaxaq
A yard fire in Ghaxaq has caused plumes of black smoke that could be seen in Southern localities around Malta.
Police informed Lovin Malta that the fire broke out on Triq Il-Belt Valletta in Għaxaq at around 1pm today.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and no injuries were reported.
Members of the civil protection department arrived on the scene and the fire was put out.
