Tragedy At Għadira: 55-Year-Old Man Dies In After Swimming Incident
A 55-year-old Mellieħa resident lost his life while swimming at Għadira Bay yesterday evening.
Police were called in at around 6:30pm. They said that a 55-year-old man got into difficulty while swimming, and some people pulled him out of the water and provided first aid.
He was taken to Mater Dei but was unfortunately certified dead a short time later.
