Travelling To Heathrow In The Next 10 Days? Air Malta Just Rolled Out New ‘Schedule Adjustments’
As “capacity challenges” at Heathrow Airport continue having a toll way beyond the London airport, every airline has been told to stop ticket sales and cap passenger capacities – and Air Malta has issued its initial schedule adjustments effective between 15th and 24th July.
These changes are just “initial” amendments, and more updates should be expected.
Afternoon flights between Malta and Heathrow on 16th and 20th July will not be allowed to leave at their usual times, both will be operating one hour earlier. All other Air Malta flights on London Heathrow are expected to operate as per the published schedule.
You also cannot book an Air Malta flight from Heathrow to Malta until 26th July.

Air Malta operates fifteen weekly services between Malta and London Heathrow, with advance booked loads for the July and August period already above 90%.
The enforced changes by London Heathrow Airport are a result of service delivery challenges facing security and airport handling. At this stage London Heathrow Airport have not advised of the schedule adjustment requirements for dates after 24th July.
