Tributes Pour In For Malta Chief Justice Emeritus Giuseppe ‘Ġoġo’ Mifsud Bonnici

Tributes have been pouring in after Former Chief Justice Giuseppe Mifsud Bonnici, fondly known as ‘Ġoġo’, died at 89 years old.

On the political front, PN Leader Adrian Delia and Justice Minister Owen Bonnici, among others, have shared their condolences, with Delia calling Mifsud Bonnici a ‘mentor’ and ‘a man of great integrity’, while Bonnici recalling his ‘unique lectures on Philosophy of Law’.

The Malta Football Association, where the avid-football fan Mifsud Bonnici served as president between 1968 and 1982, also took to social media.

Social media platforms have been inundated with comments for the former Lecturer and regular feature on Maltese TV program Xarabank.
