A truck has reportedly crashed into one of the tunnel structures connecting San Ġwann with St Julian’s.

Photos sent to Lovin Malta show the truck buried under the pile of rubble after the crash’s impact damaged the structure.

Police confirmed that the incident occurred at around 1pm.

Members from the Civil Protection Department and police are currently investigating on the scene.

The condition of the man is currently unknown, as no details of injuries suffered are available.
