A truck’s cabin was left dangling precariously over a Birżebbuġa energy logistics facility this morning after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

TVM reported that the incident occurred at around 10:30am, when the truck driver – who was carrying a load of containers – lost control of the vehicle and crashed into metal barriers.

The truck cabin was left hanging over a height of around three storeys overlooking Medserv’s facility, behind the Freeport. However, the driver managed to escape unscathed and the truck didn’t fall down.

A delicate operation is currently underway to retrieve the truck, with several CPD officials on site.
