Two COVID-19 Patients, Aged 75 And 90, Die At Mater Dei Overnight

Two COVID-19 patients died at Mater Dei overnight, bringing Malta’s death toll up to 73.

The Health Ministry said the first case was a 75-year-old man, who tested positive for the virus on 14th October and was admitted to Mater Dei a day later. He died yesterday in the intensive care unit.

The second case was a 90-year-old woman, who was admitted to Mater Dei on 31st October and tested positive that same day. She died overnight.
