Two LESA Officers Hospitalised After Motorcycle Collision In Luqa

Two LESA officers were involved in a motorcycle crash this morning in Luqa, resulting in both being taken to hospital for treatment.

The accident occurred at 10.45am on Triq San Tumas.

Initial reports indicate that the two officers, aged 40 from Fgura and 45 from Marsaskala, collided with each other while driving their motorcycles. However, the exact cause and dynamics of the crash are still under investigation.

A medical team quickly arrived at the scene, and both officers were transported to Mater Dei Hospital. Their current condition remains unknown.

The road was temporarily closed to traffic while police, LESA, and Transport Malta officials managed the situation and directed vehicles away from the scene.
