Two Men Arrested For Drug Trafficking In Msida After Weeks Of Investigations
Two men have been arrested for drug trafficking in Msida after weeks of police investigations, officials shared.
After observing a residence that was allegedly being used to sell drugs, the police managed to enter through the front door despite it being bolted shut from the inside with an iron structure.
Two men and three women were in the apartment as well as a number of sachets with substances suspected to be cocaine and heroin ready to be sold.
After further searching, police discovered a bag with approximately 50 grams of suspected cocaine as well as cash.
The persons are currently being detained in the Floriana Police lock-up.
Both men were expected to be brought to court today at around 11am.
