A 60-year-old man was hospitalised this afternoon after a crash between two motorcyclists in Triq tal-Barrani, Żejtun.

Police said that the accident occurred at around 3:15pm and that the motorcyclists have been identified as a 60-year-old man from Ħamrun and a 31-year-old man from Żabbar. While the 60-year-old was rushed to hospital for treatment, the younger biker wasn’t hurt.

The road had to be partially closed off as a result of the crash.
