Two New Surveys Show Labour Enjoys Healthy Lead Over PN

Two new political surveys have Labour in the lead, but by different margins.
According to Times of Malta, Labour is leading PN by some 18,700 votes, while MaltaToday has it up by 11,613 votes.
A third survey recently released by statistician Vincent Marmarà is somewhere in the middle, indicating PL is ahead by around 16,000 votes.
Both surveys bring good news for PL, showing an improvement compared to the most recent surveys published by both newspapers. However, it still seems to be lagging some way behind its 2022 election performance, which it won by some 40,000 votes.
Both surveys also show Prime Minister Robert Abela enjoys a much stronger trust rating than Opposition Leader Bernard Grech. MaltaToday has Abela at 46.8% and Grech at 25%, while Times used a different methodology and scored leaders’ trust ratings out of 10. Abela scored 5.4, while Grech scored 4.3.
