Two People Hospitalised After Woman Gets Hit By Motorcycle In Burmarrad

Two people have been hospitalised after a 39-year-old woman was hit by a motorcycle while crossing a street in Burmarrad earlier this afternoon.

The incident happened at around 2pm when the woman, a resident of St Paul’s Bay, was walking on Triq Burmarrad, a police spokesperson told Lovin Malta.

She was hit by a Honda motorcycle being driven by a 45-year-old man who is also a resident of St Paul’s Bay.

A medical team, ambulance, and police arrived on site to assess the situation. Both the driver and the pedestrian were injured and taken to hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown.

The road is currently closed.
