Two vehicles uprooted a tree as a result of a collision that happened in Mosta earlier this morning.

The incident occurred at around 12:45am along Valletta Road, Mosta, police have confirmed.

Photos sent to Lovin Malta from the scene of the incident show two vehicles, a Suzuki Baleno, and a Citroen Berlingo, with considerable damage and a tree that was uprooted from its place in the middle of the road.

Police explained that the vehicles first crashed into each other, and upon impact, collided with the tree.

Police told Lovin Malta that no one was injured in the ordeal, and medical assistance was not required. However, officers from the CPD were called on-site to assist in removing the tree and debris from obstructing the road.
