Malta is knee-deep in festa season, and the Ħamrunizi, known to go particularly hard during their feasts, have broken a national record in balloons.

St. Joseph’s Band Club have allegedly made the biggest balloon structure the islands have ever seen – a blue and white church towering 11.75m into the sky and 7m in width.

The day festivities take place this afternoon, with the annual march.
