Valletta Man Hospitalised After Metal Structure Collapses On Him In Ta’ Xbiex
A 50-year-old man was hospitalised today after a metal structure collapsed on him as he was at work.
The man, from Valletta, was rushed to Mater Dei hospital at around 2pm today while he was working in Triq ix-Xatt, Ta’ Xbiex.
Police officers found that, for some reason, a scaffolding-like structure fell on the man as he was working near it. At hospital, he was certified with grievous injuries.
Investigations are underway.
