Very Strong Winds And Lower Temperatures Aren’t The Only Things Coming To Malta This Week
Hot and sunny Christmases aren’t that much of a rarity if you live in Malta, and the islands have had a relatively bright and warm spell this December. However, even if today is yet again off to a very sunny, calm and legit hot start, we could be in for a significant change soon.
This afternoon, the wind is set to suddenly pick up, going past Force 5 and even 7, hitting Force 7 and making the highs of 18°C feel a little fresher.
By tomorrow, the persisting strong winds would have pushed the highs’ apparent temperature down by a whole five degrees, sitting at 13°C (nearly as low as tonight).
The temperatures are set to go back up to 17 and even 18°C by the midweek, but lows that just barely make the double digits will persist for the rest of the week before Christmas.
In what has become part of some sick inside joke, the Maltese Islands might even get some rain just in time for the weekend.
Friday is currently showing the possibility of isolated showers, even though that suspiciously warm 18°C might still linger into the weekend.
