VIDEO: Taxi Driver Filmed Making Malta Great
A white taxi driver was filmed lashing out at two tourists this afternoon near the Victoria Hotel in Sliema.
“You wanna fight?” the driver shouts as he lifts his fists in the air and tries to take a swing at the tourists.
He can then be heard saying: “Għax naqlalek għajnejk. (I’ll pluck your eyes out.)“
The video ends with the female passenger stopping the two men from fighting and the driver running back to his car.
A witness told Lovin Malta the male passenger was seen practically falling out of the vehicle before the video captured the incident.
“It wasn’t clear if he was kicked out or he fell out. But there was a lot of swearing and shouting,” the witness said.
