‘Vomiting In Front Of God’s Door?’: Valletta Church Warns Of Disgusting Acts Outside Its Entrance
A Valletta church has come forward to recall some disgusting situations it is facing, including drunk people throwing up against the church’s wall or within the front door porch.
Knisja Santa Marija Ta’ Ġesu’ took to Facebook to share a photo of the church’s doorstep right after a puddle of vomit had been cleaned up.
“This is among many situations that are threatening our presence and religious freedom,” the church stated.
It explained that it filed numerous reports to the Valletta mayor and the police in recent weeks and warned it isn’t the only church facing such behaviour.
“There is also a sad situation in Triq Sant’ Ursula with people urinating against the wall of the church and convent,” it said.
The church thanked the police and the local council for the countless times they’ve given support, however, it insisted that “more than needs to be done.”
The comment section is flooded with locals absolutely furious, one woman wrote “Puking in front of God’s door? Invest in cameras so these people get what they deserve.”
