Watch: 70-Year-Old Man Arrested Over Birgu Shooting
A 70-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shooting another man during an argument in Birgu this afternoon.
Police spokesperson Brandon Pisani said the shooting occurred at around 1pm following an argument in Triq il-Qalb ta’ Ġesù.
A 33-year-old man who lives in Bormla was injured while a 70-year-old Birgu resident has been arrested on suspicion of shooting him.
Monica Borg Galea is leading a magisterial inquiry into the shooting.
