Watch: Aaron Farrugia Calls Out PN For Broken Maltese… In Document Issued Only In English

Transport Minister Aaron Farrugia had harsh words for the PN after he said it had issued a pre-budget document replete with Maltese language typos and grammatical mistakes… even though the only version ever printed was in English.

“When the PN published its pre-budget document and my team printed it and placed it in front of me, I could see that besides all the typos and broken Maltese… it didn’t even honour the Maltese language… there was nothing tangible in it,” Farrugia said on ONE TV’s Pjazza last night.

However, it looks like Farrugia made a mistake of his own…

The PN’s pre-budget document was published in English and PN sources confirmed with Lovin Malta that no Maltese version was published.

Issued prior to the budget, it was criticised for being replete with typos and grammatical mistakes and for lacking tangible proposals.

“After reading their current proposals, I can say hand on heart that this is the worst PN we have had in our history,” Farrugia said. “They have hit a new low that we used to think they couldn’t hit.”

While there were indeed many typos and enough buzzwords to last a legislature, there were also some concrete proposals in the document.

Here’s a selection of them:
