Watch: Abela Slams ‘Holier-Than-Thou’ Borg Cardona At PL Conference
At an extraordinary PL conference yesterday, Prime Minister Robert Abela called out lawyer Andrew Borg Cardona over a recent Facebook post.
After discussing the importance of the ongoing euthanasia public consultation, Abela took a moment to share his thoughts on Borg Cardona’s post which stated: “Can we make euthanasia compulsory for Labour trolls?”
“Someone who is holier-than-thou said that they want to make euthanasia mandatory for PL voters,” Abela said.
“You know who I’m talking about. Don’t you dare fall for this type of politics of cruelty and hatred. Our party is much larger than that and this type of politics doesn’t apply to our great values. We spread love and respect, not hatred, cruelty and hate speech.”
Karl Stagno Navarra has reported Borg Cardona to the police for “hate speech” over his Facebook post.
