An Albanian man was rushed to Mater Dei yesterday evening after jumping into the sea from the cliffs of St Peter’s Pool.

The incident occurred at around 6pm at St Peter’s Pool, limits of Delimara in Marsaxlokk, police told Lovin Malta.

Shocking footage shared with Lovin Malta revealed the exact moment the man jumped from the cliffs to an applause, only for the mood to change drastically within seconds after he failed to come back to the surface. People were then seen frantically jumping into the sea to save the man.
